Pleksus is the developer and operator of the Turkish Medline index, one of Türkiye's most comprehensive health sciences literature databases, online for approximately 25 years.
More than 500 national health sciences journals are continuously monitored; newly published issues are automatically ingested and indexed.
Indexed literature is first captured by the software for the searched drug / keyword / active substance, and then classified by AI tools built on large language models as requiring or not requiring pharmacovigilance assessment. The AI tool produces a summary of the article and highlights the points that need pharmacovigilance evaluation. As a result, pharmacovigilance teams can focus only on scientifically meaningful literature that requires assessment, instead of manually reviewing large numbers — at times hundreds — of articles. In addition, an ICH E2B (R3) XML file is generated automatically for every article, allowing easy data entry into the safety database via XML import.
This approach significantly accelerates literature screening processes while delivering substantial efficiency in time and human resources.
The application is offered on a SaaS model and priced per screened active substance, independent of the number of users.
